1. Description of Service
VerifyAI is a reverse image search tool that helps users trace the origins and online usage history of photos. The App searches multiple engines (including Google Vision, Google Lens, Yandex, and commercial stock photo databases) to show where an image has appeared online.
Important: VerifyAI is an informational tool. Analysis results are provided for reference only and do not constitute legal advice, definitive proof of fraud, or factual judgment of any individual.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. User Accounts and Purchases
- No Account Required: VerifyAI does not require you to create an account. We use an anonymous, randomly generated user ID to manage your purchases.
- In-App Purchases: The App offers both free and paid (Pro) features. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
- Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as they process all payments. We do not have access to your payment information.
- Subscription Management: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings at any time.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the App to harass, stalk, or invade the privacy of others
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage
- Circumvent any security features or access restrictions of the App
- Use the App's results to make false accusations against any individual
5. Intellectual Property
- The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by VerifyAI and protected by intellectual property laws.
- You retain ownership of any images you upload. By uploading images, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process them solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service.
- Analysis results generated by the App are provided for your personal, non-commercial reference use.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The analysis results will be accurate, complete, or reliable
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Search results will detect all instances of an image online
- The absence of search results means an image is original or authentic
Critical Notice: VerifyAI cannot detect AI-generated images. The App searches for existing copies of photos online. A negative result does not mean a photo is genuine — it may simply mean it has not been indexed by our search engines yet.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VerifyAI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Decisions made based on the App's analysis results
- Emotional distress resulting from the discovery or non-discovery of image matches
- Any actions taken by third parties based on information obtained through the App
- Loss of data or service interruptions
8. Image Data Handling
Your images are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- Images are deleted immediately after analysis is complete
- We never store, archive, or back up your original images
- Images are transmitted to third-party search engines solely for analysis purposes
9. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party search engines and services to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Changes to third-party APIs may affect the App's functionality.
10. Modifications to the Service and Terms
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
- Material changes will be communicated through the App or our website.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
